Leeds Project Big Band Monthly Jam sessions at The Chemic.
Leeds Project Big Band aims to welcome non-professional musicians to a relaxed, weekly, open Big Band. We currently rehearse on Thursday evenings in Meanwood and you can find out more by emailing leedsprojectbigband@outlook.com or finding us on Facebook and instagram (see below).
We have recently began an equally relaxed monthly Saturday Jam night in the function room of The Chemic, at around 7.45pm-10pm. Instrumentalists and singers are very welcome to come along to join in and anyone is welcome to come and listen. If you would like to play or sing something Jazz related you can help our budding rhythm section by emailing song requests to samandhannahevans@gmail.com a week or so in advance, or you can just rock up and we’ll do our best to back you.
